Roadway Paving Update
Binder course pavement has been placed on Alpine Street, Janice
Road, Baniulis Road, Kazimer Drive, Kern Drive, Nolte Road, New
Foster Avenue, and Philip Road. The contractor is preparing for the
placement of top course pavement. Current activities involve the
installation of Cape Cod berm, installation of sidewalk ramps, and
utility structure adjustments. Additionally, on roadways that have
existing sidewalks, we are preparing the sidewalks for a pavement
overlay.
Following the placement of top course pavement, the contractor will
repair driveway aprons to provide a smooth transition to the new
roadway; loam and seed the edge of roadway and any disturbed areas;
and perform any other miscellaneous work, as needed.
If you have any questions, please contact the Engineering Division
