Billerica Recycling Contest
Residents are invited to nominate a Billerica resident or household
for a Recycling Award of the Month.
Contest Nomination Guidelines:
Both quantity and quality of recycling will be considered.
Volume of recycling will be considered in comparison with the volume
of trash produced by the resident.
Recyclables need to be sorted and prepared correctly.
Nominees should regularly recycle many or all of the different
types of material that are collected curbside.
Tell us something special that this person or household does in
their neighborhood to support recycling.
Including a photo with the nomination is encouraged but not
required.
Residents can not nominate themselves, a relative, or a town
employee.
The official nomination form is available below. Completed forms
can be mailed to the Town of Billerica, DPW Administration Office, G11, 365 Boston
Road, Billerica, MA 01821, or dropped off at the DPW Administration
Office, Room G11 at the Town Hall.
The Director of Public Works will review the applications, verify the
information provided, and make recommendations for the award to the
Board of Selectmen.
Award Schedule - the new Award Schedule will be
available soon.
The Department of Public Works would like to thank the following for
