Occupancy Permit Policy

Permit Office Hours: 7:00 am to 8:00 am, or by appointment

All permits for locations involving site work (utilities, grading, foundations, framing, etc.) with or without street opening permits shall allow 48 hours from time of sign-off request for field inspection at the project site.

Permits may be dropped off for sign-off at the Highway Division during permit office hours or by appointment.

Sign-off requests may be made in person or by fax. If placed by fax, please be sure to include a copy of the building permit and any other related information. Please call us to confirm receipt of your fax.

Permits for re-occupancy or for other situations not involving exterior or site work may be signed off during permit occupancy hours or at other times by appointment.
