WebGIS

The Town of Billerica contracted Woodard and Curran, a consulting firm based in  Portland, Maine for the development of an Interactive website. The website was designed using ESRI's ArcIMS software (IMS - Interactive Map Service) and was named WebGIS by the town. The website guides town's staff to locate geographic information and also print maps of the vital information.

Currently the website is being migrated to the newer, more enhanced ArcGIS platform and should be available by January 2010.  WebGIS is designed for internal use only, but citizens can access this robust database and imagery by visiting the Information Center at the Department of Public Works, Engineering Division's front desk (Room G-09 in the Town Hall).
